Hoh Couture at the Gardens Hotel Sunday Afternoon

Key West's favorite tile artist in exile, Valerie Hoh (best known for the house numbers which adorn at least one house on every Old Town block), is back in town. The artist, who moved to Asheville a few years ago, reinvented herself as an art-to-wear couturier.

Aptly styled as Hoh Couture, Valerie’s Key West collection of collaged clothes and accessories will be shown at The Gardens Hotel (526 Angela Street) this Sunday (Feb 7, 2010). The collection includes her Rumba Wraps, The Blues, Calypso Vests and Salsa Handbags. Ooh, la la!

Jazz Musicians Skipper Krippitz and Gordy Michaels will be on hand with a guest singer.

The fashion event and show is free. Noon to 6 pm – fashion show at 5:30 pm.
